10-Q Poll from A.C.A.

Posted by: skaloumbakas on 27 September 2003

Dear friends,

In order for us to increase the general 'audio public' feeling in our data base, about some of the most important High-End issues (to our humble opinion), we place below a 10-questions poll (found within the ACA.GR web-site)

What counts most for sound playback?
How long since your first Stereo?
Sources included in your Hi-Fi.
Your favorite front end type.
Your favorite speaker's type.
Your favorite amplifier's type.
Favorite music you listen to...
Opinion you trust for Hi-Fi quality.
Money spent for your present Hi-Fi.
Equipment you like to see reviewed.
(1 Vote/IP/Q is allowed)

Steal some (not much) of your valuable time, pick-up a few (or all) the questions, and select one answer for each. (Avoid to see 'results' before you vote, for a more personal opinion...)

Thank you

Audiophile Club of Athens

Tom,

it's not the medication; perhaps your pc just isn't huge enough to access the wonderful world of Greek - Turcoman hifi.

It's good to visit though - never mind Nick's invidious comments. I guess he just can't handle looking at those pictures of all those towering speakers.

There's a guy in the audiophile club of Istanbul who has a minimalist sistem which is housed in a seperate, WAF-free next-door home. Who said dedicated listening room is an unnatural way of listening to music?

However, my favorite is the kid with the SF Amatis (as of early 2000) who by the looks of his story changes his entire multi-K sistem a couple of times each year. A mid-size Third-World country could live on what he spends on cables alone.

Forget about the poll. Just have a look see and be humbled

Nick,

This comment of yours, about tuners having been excluded from the sources option, is valid!

I think we should consider it (and replace the 'other' option with this...).

This of course will change a little bit the rating but I will try to give some extra 'votes' (you can not do this, but I can, please trust me...) to the 'tuners' option so that will not affect the general view of the stats of this question and look natural.

As you understand, for design reasons I want to keep the number of options constant as it is.

Thanks for your interest.

OK, I have already done that, replacing "Other" with "Tuner or other" in the sources question
