Just experienced a good example of British commercial stupidity and greed in my local offy. About 18 months back they sold 0.4 ltr cans of Draught Guinness at about €1.20 a go, though since then I've not seen them there. I just asked her about it and she said she could order me a case no probs, price er, 24 x 33ml cans (circa er €39.00) absolutely ludicrous. A case of the worlds finest 'Bud' which I*'ve just lugged up to the old penthouse suite cost me €16.00 for 20 x 0.50 ltr Bottles.

Decent draught Guinness here in an Irish boozer costs about €4.10 a 0.40 ltr glass that they refer to as a pint.

Michael old Chap I feel inclined now to pander to your tipsy whims and make a response (but don't ever take me for granted Sir). Firstly I'll have to once again state that I have no religious, political, or any other hidden agenda's on this ere forum and use my own name for all the world to see, as is my want to date.

1. I risk my own money regularly, and as you say have never gomne into business persay like your good self (not in the financial sense at least, though when on the bones of my arse I've never gome hungry without begging to anybody)*

2. I have to convince nobody regarding my working history besides my next employer, my CV (totally honest and up to date) speaks for itself) John.

3. As Regards knowing any decent Chaps, many are dead (all under 55 too), one just recently in fact aged 51 who I knew for well over 20 years, and although a Scouser was a survivor to put it mildly. Today whilst waiting in the bank I met a Chap/tranvestite who I know well who's been in Civvy street now for nearly a year. He/she spent 22 years inside a German nick for murdering a child rapist (slashing his throat in front of many witnessess actually (in court in front of the lot) died on the spot, another was an old tramp in the supermarket drinking beer before he'd paid for it (did I larf) he's well known ex FFL with distinction & cluster and has no criminal record, and is tougher and stronger than an ox (must be 65 to a day), another was my old taxi driver pal who's been wheelchair bound now for 2 years with MS (45 years old) soldiering on, doing his own thing until he cannie do it alone anymore.

These Chaps would never get into your Club Our Mick (Maybe they left it long afore like me)?
