Without being emotional it does seem strange that in this year of AD 2005 these factors kill more people than any other, innit.

Granted the logistics are slightly different, but I often wonder about Countries helping out other Countries (supposedly unconditionally) with basic supplies in times of need ? When one considers the incredible effort and loss of lives to keep this City of Berlin going in 1948 with the famous Airlift, I can't help wondering Why, not so very long before; that Britain didn't make a concertive effort to help its Irish Neighbours during their famine crisis in which millions died and has subsequently had quite profound Worldwide consequences to-boot I tink ?
