nap90 in Mono?

Well ok not exactly mono, but can I use a single channel from a spare 90 to power a centre speaker? Will it remain stable even though one channel is redundant?
Cheers Alan.

Don't see why not. I've been using a 250 like this for over two years.
At one point I used a pair of 250s as mono-blocks.
Never had any complaints!

Alan
Are you intending to use Naim pre amp, it is advisable to do so.

Driving a pair of IBLs from a nap 140 from a Yamaha DSP-800 pre outs. (Made my own leads by hacking some old gray SNAICS).
Have had no problems with stability driving via the 120, 1 IBL as centre, 2 IBLs as centre (what I settled on), 2 IBLs as rear (good).
For best sound, I would guess an AV2 is the bizz, but the difference with the centre via a 140 over the DSP-800 doing the amplification is NICE (even with the NAD centre speaker).
Maybe the DSP-800 does not throw a load of unnecesarry ultra/infra sonic stuff at the amp (I could be wrong but this what naim amps have problems with - Admins can you help)
Checked with Naim for each step, and aiming for an AV2 but want to see what they will do with the video switcher before I take an expensive plunge.
For me the ideal I want is scart(RGB/S-video)/S-Video/Composite/PC in and RFB/S-Video/PC out no mater what source. Yes I could, in theory, do that now but not simply.
To err is human; to really foul it up requires a computer.

I'd second Stuart's comment - although he seams to have done so himself!
I've used Yamaha and Parasound as pre-amps, with no ill effects.
That said when I moved to an AV2 everything knitted together very nicely
