Welcome in the real music world.
The first thing to do is to visit a NAIM dealer. Audition all combinaisons you can afford and make your own judgement. Be very open minded.
FYI:
First CD5 about SGD$3000
Option 1 NAIT5 $2300
Option 2 NAC112 + NAP 150 $4000
On both option you will need NAIM speaker cable (NACA5). It is unanimousely The cable to use with Naim amp.
Later, you can add a separate power supply for CD + Preamp (flatcap2).
Both option will give you a lot of pleasure. Option 2 is of course better, more weight, more details, more control.
Don't skip the CD5 for a lesser quality and cheaper CDP, if the budget is tight, go for a new CD5 and for a used integrated (All NAITs are fantastic)
Price are base on canadian prices. The NAIT5 price you give indicates your prices in SGD$ are very close to CAN$.
Enjoy, and keep us informed of your findings.

As I went from Nait2 through Nait3,Nait3 + Flat,
72/flat/140, 72/Hi/140, 102/Hi/napsc/140, I think that it is a good idea to start with the integrated amp and upgrade it when you are familiar with it and know exectly what do you want.
The problem is, that althogh Naim are keeping very well the prices for s/h equipment, if I could go directly to the 102/hi/napsc/140, I could save quite a lot of money.
But if you want to be sure, I think it is a good idea to start from the bottom and then upgrade - and who knows? Maybe you'll find out that Naim is not the equipment for you...
