The Official X Factor thread

Excuses first. I'm not a fan of TV talent contests. Reality TV shows an absolute no-no. However last year I got completely into the X Factor and it already looks like this series is going to be worth watching. Undoubtedly we, the British, are a weird bunch with an inflated opinion of our talents. It's a bizarre mixture of sad folk, arrogant folk who deserve a kick in the nuts, and occasionally really talented folk getting their chance.
