Buying speakers is a minefield

You didn't give an option for 'anything except ES14s' so I couldn't directly vote.

ES11's should be nice, though, if my short demo is anything to go by. Guess these don't fit your 'big, fat' description, though.

cheers, Martin

Mike,

Best of luck. It's pretty obvious what I voted for, but it's a cryin' shame that Neat don't do NZ.
Although I'm not so daft as to suggest blind buying a speaker, please feel free to do so on your own accord smile

Which big fat Epos are you referring to?

Interested to see how this thread develops.

Redeye quit pissing around and get a pair of SBLs whilst they still exist and at the prices they are.

Its like paint if you only had 3 choices it would be a lot easier.

Credo? Allae? SBL?
SBL, of course... but it depends on your budget.
SBL are 2 times more expensive than Credo...

Alright then: ES11's, then the XPS etc.

If you give open the window at the back to far, you'll have to spend a lot to landscape the view before you can enjoy it.
