Charming suggestion for Naim record label

Posted by: Michael_B. on 17 February 2007

Now, as we all know, the very worst thing about CDs is............ the jewel case, which has an ability to crack and break hinges in a manner that drives us all to distraction.

On the other hand, the latest Eleanor McEvoy CD, "Out There", which is well worth buying for all sorts of other (i.e. musical reasons) also comes in a wonderful, very much more solid and user-friendly jewel case that goes by the name of "Super Jewel Box". This is infinitely better than the usual rubbish. As someone who has already managed to inflict lethal damage on his Antonio F Live CD simply by unwrapping it, how about trying to source these for your own label? They look nicely dsitinctive and do exude some sort of a quality air..... So they'd be good branding, too.

Cheers

If you are referring to the rounded edge cases, I am reliably informed by my local librarian that they don't seem to fair much better than the old ones in general (ab)use.

Given that Video DVDs come in a nice robust case that never seems tro go wromg, why cannot Cds come in something of the sort?

Apologies for the progressively worse grip I had on spelling last evening!

Enough said!

All the best from Fredrik
