Unitiserve and Plug Player app

There's a free iPhone app called "UPnP Browser" by Oppian which looks around your network and provides information on all the UPnP compliant devices on it; this could help you find where your problem might be. hth.

Are you wanting the PlugPlayer app to control what is played on the UnitiServe, or control playback on another device (i.e. UnitiQute) with the UnitiServe as the UPnP AV server?

If the former, (i.e. PlugPlayer controlling whats playing on the UnitiServe) then no it wont do that. It should see the UnitiServe as a UPnP AV server though so long as both are on the same network.

I would like the Iphone to be a client while using the Plug Play app, thereby streaming music from US to Iphone.

Give plug player a bit of time to scan for devices, it took ages for it to find my Uniti!

I downloaded the UPnP browser by oppian. It worked while at was at work but it could not detect anything at home. WTF! I've tried the Plug play app and UPnP browser multiple times. I even have the UPnP browser app on my Ipad and both of them could bot detect any wireless device at home, not even my Macbook Pro>..Could it be that I am using Airport Extreme as router and Airport Express as wireless bridge to the Unitiserve? But the N-serve app works properly though...
