Thanks, Mr. Steve!

Redid the stand installation 'chez Stockwell' this weekend and, following the advice of Mr Toy, installed the components on the stand in a different order. Now it's TT/CDP/TT psu/Stageline/Nait5/Spare shelf (for HiCap, when I pick it up). This organisation with the Nait on the bottom got the Speaker cables out of the way of the phono arm lead and the CDP interconnect, and made it easier to keep the power leads out of the way. Pity that the 'Design Police' noticed how the power cables were more visible frown , but the sound is ohh soo sweet now smile . In fact for the first time I was able to really hear the difference that turning the CD player display as well as the digital output off, could make.

And, last but not least the 401 is taking names and kickin' ass again big grin

Peter

Pas de probleme!

A votre service! wink

If the "Design Police" saw my Music Works Block in the middle of the room!!! - soon to be placed on a QS Ref shelf - in the middle of the room still... , I'd soon be in the 'cuffs! wink
It's a good job that they don't patrol these parts! wink

It's always a nice day for it wink Have a good one! smile
Steve.
