Grace Jones Hurricane

The woman is totally batty but I love her. The new album has Sly and Robbie and, at its best, sounds very much like her golden period on Island (nightclubbing, warm lethorette).

I Ordered the double vinyl but the CD has floor shaking bass. Well worth it IMO.

I do sense a faint element of 'botheredness' but c'mon munch ,Grace entertains and she does sing . sure its not the best voice ever but listen to stuff like 'la vie en rose' ....its not that bad .At least she ia a bit of fun which god knows we could do with at the mo !

Was listening to that yesterday. Then slung on one of those disco albums she made in the late 70's ,"Fame". Totally hilarious camp stuff which had me waving my handbag around the living room...if only they would bring out her disco fest, "Muse" on CD. They never did...I have such fond memories of that album. Big Grin
