Mark Hollis - solo al*** going cheap on Amazon

One of my absolute favourite albums available for a song, UKP 3.48 on Amazon.
Sparse, evocative, moody and beautiful music.
Take a chance and treat yourself.

Has anything been heard of Mark Hollis since this release?
Such a talent, the last two Talk Talk albums are among my favourites.

Really.
Oh well, I must be completely wrong then.
Its Laughing Stock taken one step further, and better.

There is a lazy blues feel to the rhythm section on the last two Talk Talk albums that is absent on Mark Hoillis' solo album.
I think this makes the stark quality of his writing and arrangement easier to listen to on 'Spirit of Eden' and 'Laughing Stock', and I suspect it might be that that Scottyhammer is commenting on.
I do like the solo album, but do not find it something that I listen to from start to end like those two Talk Talk albums.
I was interested to read that Karl Hyde of Underworld is a fan, saying about 'Spiti of Eden' 'I reminds him to try harder'. I can hear the influence in some of the quiet Underworld tracks like 'Tongue'.
