Yes they are, I don't remember that one, how close to the Alhambra is it?
Posted on: 18 February 2010 by DaveBk
I can't find the Alhambra restaurant, but there's a Kashmir restaurant opposite the Alhambra Theatre?

I meant the ALhambra theatre, its not a cuury house. The Kashmir is great.
They play some decent music in there.

I wonder what the ART's would look like in that colour, do you think they would clash with the walls?

I was thinking of getting the speakers sprayed the same colour, so they fade into the background.

Just enjoyed 2 weeks of the playing music at home with only a minor tweak to the system...
The baby Proacs have been on R & R after 10 years of sterling service, while Yoda and Pedro (from Absolute Sounds) popped in with a pair of Wilson Sophia 2 louspeakers for me to try.
Oh mama but have things sounded phenomenal for the last fortnight. The good news is that I have been weaned off SF Mementoes (still like them though, a lot). The bad news is that I'm utterly hooked on the sheer brilliance of what Sophias do to music in our house.
I've read so much twaddle about full range speakers not working in a normal UK living room (19' x 12'), cannot be placed near corners (Pedro ended up positioning the speakers just 10" from the back wall and one of them close to a room corner), a 32.5 pre-amp won't work with top quality speakers etc. etc. None of these "eternal truths" applies to Sophias in our living room.
God but the music pouring forth out of a mixed up Roksan, Naim & Wilson system sounds utterly inspiring.
Apart from all this, the system's frankly rubbish
Happy listening everyone. FT

Hmmm, those Wilson Sophia's do sound very good, they are still on the shortlist of speakers to investigate further,
