Quirky or a turn-off? The NaimUniti ads

Naim's ads have always been distinctive but the one currently seen in, for example, What HiFi? (and at the URL below) make me feel uncomfortable somehow, interested as I am in the product - almost what the psychologists call cognitive dissonance! What do others here feel?

Quirky. Like it.

I don't understand the connection between a young (apparently) couple (assumed) having a baby (presumably, could be a horrible abdominal tumor), standing together without all their clothes -- and hifi.
I do understand that the vast majority of young families expecting children have absolutely no business purchasing expensive hifi. Conversation: “Honey, since you’re pregnant and will soon be spending a lot of time with the new baby, I’m off to get us in heavy credit card debt to buy some expensive hifi. It is what all new families need.”
I'm guessing that this picture is much more provocative and interesting than pictures of most anyone who would be interested in AND able to afford such kit (myself included!).
Given Naim's styling of kit (very conservative, essentially monochromatic, etc.) this is quite a bold step.
Most ads or ad campaigns such as this don't hold up to much analysis. They are more about setting the tone in customer's minds. I don't understand this tone, and the ad just doesn't resonate with me nor does it compel me to even look further into this kit.

The small white dense text on a black ground is so unreadable as to dissuade me from zooming in to the ad to read it.

I have a similar approach to trendy magazines that use a coloured background to make the text difficult to read - perhaps it is a screening process to avoid interest and queries from old farts.

I actually quite like it, although it could do with being about an inch taller, errm, at the top...
