Which are the better recorded albums on vynil?, a few have turned up in a charity shop and i am not sure which ones are worth buying.

Achtung Baby and The Joshua Tree I recall as being decent recordings.
Their early stuff tends to be a bit ropey production wise IMO.

Most of their albums are very well produced, IOM Josha Tree is one of the finest albums every put to vinyl or CD

The only U2 albums that I have are War and Joshua Tree on vinyl. They both sound fine on vinyl, Joshua Tree especially so. Even so it seems that their albums were well recorded to begin with.
