All of these lists seem to be quite heavily tilted towards North America and particularly the alt.americana scene (a very good scene it was/is too but there was other stuff happening).
I do slightly better (10) off this one FWIW.

13 for what it is worth - It maybe show thats its been a pretty thin decade - but it is a pretty narrow choice - Back in Black is in there tho :-)

My biggest surprise was that "Yoshimi..." didn't make the list (no 'Lips at all!). I was expecting it to break the top 5.

For some reason my browser doesn't like that site at all
. However I did see The Drive-By Truckers "The Dirty South" at #49 (I think) - which would probably be my pick for Album of the 00's so far
