Ground switch

I have set my "ground switch" (back of the HDX) to "Chassis". Is this the best position?

Can I change the position of this switch while playing or do I have to switch the HDX off first?

Has anyone tried different positions? When should I go to "floating"?

You only need to go floating if you have a source component that provides system a earth such as a Naim CDP,a Naim tuner or a Linn t/t.

I am not sure if it requires a Linn TT, a properly grounded TT should work eh?

The Linn ,yes just one that ~~sprung~~ came to mind.
