Newly released on Yeproc Records is;

With backing support from Scott McCaughey, Peter Buck and Bill Rieflin who comprise the Venus 3, Robyn releases another collection of quality tunes. If you like early REM you'll love this.

Robyn Hitchcock and V3 are playing small venues in the US. Surely intimate setting will enhance the show.

This is such a great album, probably one of Robyn's more immediate and approachable releases...but I love em all!

The harmonies are wonderful, lets hope he does a Venus 3 tour in the UK this year.

Ordered the 180grm vinyl as well.

Saw them 2 years ago in Bristol, but the Venus 3 weren't touring the UK with RH this time round. When I saw them RH and PB were mighty stoned!

Anyone hear heard Shadow Cat (collection of outtakes from the 1990s) & what do you think?

I 'm not a great fan of "Shadowcat" it has it's moments notably "Staue With A Walkman" which I think is avaialble on another compilation. The sound is'nt too consistent and to me (who has just about everything MrH has released , and lots he hasn't) it sounds just what it is a collection of performances that either didn't nake the grade or didn't fit anywhere. "Spooked" is a far better bet, and great for headphone listening.
