Laugh out loud viewing for anyone who grew up remembering the fear inducing original as a kid (me)....

Part 2 tonight. More unintentionally comic dialogue along the lines of "....that's a million meat-eating plants..." and bits of comically unconvincing latex waving around in a 'woooooo' kind of way.

So, a must watch then.

Bit manky but passed the time - Lots of production/continuity issues which always hack me off, especially on something which doesn't seem to be on a cheap budget.

Like it was daylight in London and Sydney at same time on the live broadcasts...

Then the laughable stuff. Took a 9 year old to show the grown ups that some form of eye or headgear could be advisable...I'd have thought there would have been a run on motorcycle helmets 1st day...I know, I know, but it could be real...

Eddie Izzard was good though. Nice CV. Multi marathon running, Hollywood starring, accomplished multi-lingual stand-up comedian transvestite. Gotta be Doctor Who some day.

All of the above ........ but not a patch on the original with corny acting, see-thru visual effects & dodgy studio backgrounds as seen in the local flea pit with yer mates.
