mains power...

Hi,
Given the importance of the power supply, what can anyone tell me about getting the mains sorted - I am in Spain, and the power fluctuates badly, so need a surge protector ( so Naim tell me..)
Do any of you know anything about these - A PS Audio device was suggested (sorry, can't remember your name..!) but these seem too expensive at present, though I am going to have a listen soon.
So, what can ayone tell me ?
