cd3 transport

I just want to buy CDM9 transport and put it in safe-deposit box to make my CD almost immortal.
But I have one question is the CDM9/44 the same as CDM9, just full product name?

Nop, you need the same as you have in your CD3.

But CD3 is equipped with CDM9 transport! For me it seems that CDM9 is just abbreviated name of CDM9/44 but I'm not sure, so that's why I'm asking here. At least pictures of CDM9/44 are identical to transport included in CD3.

I believe this is the same mech. If you find any in stock anywhere then please post it here.

As you delve deeper into the electronics you will find that the /44 refers to a particular production run and may require different logic circuits for operations although visually the transport is similar.

Suggest you contact Naim directly with the serial number of your CD3. They will be able to definatively tell you whether the CDM9/44 is compatible with your specific player or if a different CDM9 transport is required.
