Selling CDs

Posted by: Andy Moore on 16 March 2002

I've got far too many CDs on my shelves and there are a number that I no longer listen to.

Selling them seems like the best idea but where and how? My local second hand CD shop offers upto £4 per cd, is this the best offer I'm likely to get? Does anyone know of any more generous used music shops in London?

Andy.

I have friends who constantly sell their CDs and I can't understand why. Why not keep everything, no matter how embarrassing? It's nice to build up a massive musical library (admittedly, it's not so nice to have to move it). Still, it's worth it-I've often gone back and rediscovered stuff I dismissed as crap.

That's easy for you to say but you live in the great white north, in a big house and with a cellar ? (If you don't my apologies)

I'll agree with that assertion, and I've found that the more coherent the system, the easier it is to follow stuff that at first made no sense.
