RealWorld records

Just a plug for this excellent label, run by Peter Gabriel. Over the years they have introduced me to some fine music from the most unlikely sources. The standards of production are almost always very high and they use artists of the finest calibre from all over the world sometimes in interesting collaboration. Everything from Armenian Duduk to British Folk by way of Sitar and African Dance.

The web page

is slick and I subscribe to RealWorld Notes which gives you a quarterly newsletter including a sampler CD. This month it includes a superb selection of tracks-prompting the post of this topic.

Anyone interested in World Music should check the site and company out.

Hi Bruce, have you got the 3rd Afro Celt Sound System disc yet? I have the first two, and will probably get the third, but another opinion's always good to add some confusion to the issue...

Any news of PG's next album? Seems to have been in the works forever...

Pete.

What I have heard of the 3rd album is a bit more mainstream, less ethnic and more mellow. just heard 2 or 3 tracks. None of them are actually really my bag.
