tvtv electronic program guide -- any good ??

I have just bought a Terratec satellite-TV PCI card for my PC. It receives free satellite broadcasts from Astra/Eurobird ... [I have it connnected direct to the satellite dish] ....
It comes with a trial subscription to tvtv.co.uk EPG [electronic program guide] .. The full annual subscription is £ 15. I have not installed the trial version since I hate having to remove software that does not work out well [it's always nearly impossible to remove everything].
Has anyone any experience of this product -- is it a good idea .. I am running a PC with Vista.
