Anyone have experience with Latest Version of the KANS?

I am considering these for my Bedroom as they are easily wall moutable. Any experience with them? How do they compare to Katans. I am looking to build a very MODEST system consisting of integrated amp plus speakers. My source would be a VCR/DVD Combo and I am looking to improve sound over my TV. Thanks.
