Show Thyself!

A recent posting called 'Forum Pictures' gave me the idea that it might be nice to put a face to the waffle!
So; this is me.
Anyone else care to join in?

And one of the music room itself. Newly hardwooded. Yes, I know- an area rug will be arriving shortly.

Once again, Ron Toolsie emerges and, with one quick shot from the hip, shows us how it’s done. Following a series of “my foot and system” pictures, he sets a trend with images of “men holding their instruments”.
Please excuse the image quality. Captured off a video shot at a recent gig -- my first in years!

Me driving my Landcruiser... Far from my audio system.
You can see the top of my wife's head (she's the world's greatest good sport) and my two boys are strapped in the back.

David, I reckon it's time you thought about getting the driveway resurfaced.

Lovely 'perm' Nick.
You might like to think about updating that system - technology has moved on (maybe?)
My starter system was similar:-
BSR MP60 - Prinzsound 2001 - Wharfedale Dentons and I'm bloody sure that gave me as much musical pleasure as what I have now.
Ah; the fresh innocence of youth eh?

Thanks for your kind words ;-) Although this image of me and one of my guitars was shot with the overkill combination of a tripod-mounted 6x7 medium format camera with the aid of two umbrella strobe flashes, scanned at 2810 dpi and then resized for the 50k limit of the forum. Although I am sure that a 2 MP digital camera with its own weedy built in flash would have provided a 50k resized image that was about of equal quality.
<nostalgia on>Yes, it was years ago that there was a thread on the Olde Forum where I posted a 'listeners ear' perspective of our system. Which was then rapidly reprised by folks such as Joel, Dev, Jawed, Jonathan Gorse et al. Those were the days ok </nostalgia off>
Here is the very image I believe.

First, a shot from the inimitable Vuk (taken last spring):
Here's a recent one (two weeks ago, after the birth of my first child). I'm about forty pounds lighter than last spring, although you couldn't tell by the picture:
