Sometimes certain cars and their owners deserve each other.

In this months EVO there is an article on the Audi Quattro.

This is an early 1980's car with crappy brakes to match.

So journo jumps in drives fast on snow and ice corner approaching!

Hits the brakes and well.

1980's audi vw brakes .

SO NO ABS NO GET OUT OF JAIL CARD ETC>

By sheer luck (sorry driving skill) journo manages to get away with it.

So journo should have appreciated that AUDI Quattro has great get up and go but woeful stopping power.

Even in 1981 there were concerns over the brakes .

So today 25 years later journo expected 2005 brakes and didnt get em.

If he had trashed the car i wonder how he would have appologised to the owner.

So .

As i said some cars and owners deserve each other.

Asssuming it was the owner that did it, imagine the pain come insurance renewal time!

Mind you if you can afford £325k for a car, I guess the insurance cost doestn't matter does it?

I take it off thier hands for £100 if asked!
