Hi Fi Show Ljubljana (Slovenia) 2003.

Yesterday I was been in Ljubljana on show.
Here are the results with some pics.
Naim CDX/XPS/202/Napsc/chrome Hi-Cap/200/"big" Spendor. I was highly dissapointed with the sound. Anemic, thin, celluloid bas. I don't know why is that sound so bad.

one more.
I know that this system must sound MUCH better, but I really don't know what was wrong here.

Slovenian manufacture Stylos was represented second best sound at show with their Fostex speaker driver, only 2W tube amp with one EL34 tube, some Pioneer cdp as transport (there is no much of Pioneer inside) and their glorious looking 10000 EUR DAC on top.

In the Gryphon room there was Igor Kante and Franc Kuzma. Look at magnetostatic speakers.
The sound is correct and I was never heard Gryphon sounds that good before.

And the best sound at the show, Hajdinjak Labs, again.

There was a rumorus that Hajdinjak stuff was sounded good because of his previous demo source CEC Transport/Conv. and SME 20 turntable. According to this he was played yesterday with cheapset Kuzma and Audio Analogue cdp. The sound was very good even with this source, amazing
.

Ant this is my new amp. Yeah, right this on the picture.

Hi Ozren!
Congratulations! The amp looks spectacular! All you need is a good naim CDP.
I don't see a NACA5 in the naim room? Another bottleneck could be power supply/mains quality in the room?
Regards,
Emil

Emil,
thank you for your reply. I already own CD5, but I wait this http://www.hajdinjaklabs.com/CDpx.html
which will be introduced earlier, at the beginnig of 2004. The Anin player will incorporate Philips transport which cost 700 Eur
.
About Naim...
I simply don't know, but I am sure that this system can sound much more better.

Ozren - those speakers should give a nice "open" sound.

Number 9,
I don't know about Karan at show.
Obelisk was sounded bad. Obelisk are pigs to drive, but many people simply never understand that.
