Hi Fi Show Ljubljana (Slovenia) 2003.
Posted by: Lightkeeper on 24 November 2003
Yesterday I was been in Ljubljana on show.
Here are the results with some pics.
Naim CDX/XPS/202/Napsc/chrome Hi-Cap/200/"big" Spendor. I was highly dissapointed with the sound. Anemic, thin, celluloid bas. I don't know why is that sound so bad.

J.A. Toon,
I am very happy that someone ask this question.
As english is not my first language I will do my best to try to interpret to you what I hear from Hajdinjak.
I was never ever heard in my life for hime before hi fi show in Zagreb about a month ago. I was always believe that similar tube designed amplifier should also sound similar to, ok, maybe not similar, but I was believed that nothing here can turn me in the tubes world. I was also always believed that is impossible to get perfect sound without very qualified R&D team and their special software and equipment and now I see that this is not true. As I was never heard before for Bojan, I was come in his room with cold head and nothing was influated my feelings about his sound. From the first few seconds I was flattered, what a dynamic
is that, hey...that must be a good transistor amplifier...(looking better at the rack)
...Jesus, that is tube. All my previous audio experience was fall down from that moment (I was listened to many brands at my home like Conrad Johnson, Cary, Vac, Audio Inovations, Sonic Frontiers, Anthem, Audio Note, Synthesis Art IM and... can't remember which more). Bojan's amps sound so real, timing is excellent, timbre is fantastic, you can easily recognized violins between them and someone who knows how some type of violin sounds can easily recognize which one is play. Soundstage and it's depth is that good how much your room alows you to be. Lateral focus is also seriously good without any pinpoint like stuff. Everything sounds harmonically rich, real, brassy and crisp and it is fucking interesting to listen to. Bojan0s amps are legal drugs for ears. There is really many qualities of HL amps. What more to say, I can't wait to hear Bojan's (my) system with his cd player which will come out at the beginning of next year. There is one interesting thing which was Bojan told me and that is "the time of large diameter (fat) cables has gone".
At the end, I was several time speak with myself at the show and that what I've said is that I was wanted that some of you forum members are here to take a listen how this Hajdinjak Labs Jubal integrated amplifier rocks like a real motherfucker.
