The Hold Steady - What the....?

Having seen this band on later, and having read the rave reviews in the Music Press recently, I am rather agog at just how bad this lot are! Firstly, thanks to Later I have not spent any of my hard earned on any of their output! Basically they are a pub band who cannot hold a tune and insist on doing their own material. The lead singer comes across as an annoying drunk, the kind who suddenly starts talking to you at the bar and will not leave you alone. He probably suffers from the over production of saliva also. He cannot sing, they cannot play and the lyrics are just stream of conscience doggerel. If any one actually buys any of this they must do two things 1) stop wasting money on music as they have no taste and 2) sell all their audio gear as this will further remove them from temptation.
