Uniti HTTP access

I can't be the first to have tried browsing to the Uniti. It shows a device status and network configuration details. I wonder how this could be developed ?

I wouldn't mind being able to have the Uniti display replicated in the browser. It's on the other side of the room which means having to stand over it. Not a problem when playing a CD straight through but not good for searching round the hundreds of internet radio stations or music on the Upnp server. Anyone from Naim listening Winker

The I-touch/I-Pad Uniti app will let you do that.

Unfortunately, the only apple I have in the house is in the fruitbowl. Can't be long before someone develops a windows/unix version, can it ?

Redmires, you could control your Uniti from a Windows PC running Windows Media Player 11. Try the "Play to" feature while your Uniti is in PC/UPNP mode.

Manu,
What app are you refering to. Is it released yet??. Was told that a further update was required to the uniti for it to work.

A uniti is a UPNP Renderer.
Where ever your music is stored becomes a UPNP server.
In the middle you can have a UPNP control point. This can run on your PC, 'see' both uniti and server and communicate between the two.

I try not to ever use PC software except to play games so have no idea whats available. Probably the best on mac in my experience is songbook. But take a look for UPNP control software.
