Dear Ew,
I am finding that I agree more and more with you. So if they slam me aware as an innoscent, so what!? No more council tax, water rates, blah bloody blah, and general b*****y, but just the regular prison sort. I am am not sure I would enjoy adjusting, but one can get used to anything in time!
Fredrik
PS: I am sure you would agree that life is a shafting none of us would volunteer for!

Fredders! I will do you the honour as an ex Officer and Gentleman (very occassionally) to pretend that you're as sober as my Doctor is (Our Bruce is in bed so no sweat I trust, don't ever say trust?) and will conclude that as Rangers have just been fined £13,300 for being racists obnoxious daft bastards that they've immediately put in an 'threat' to say otherwise.
Fritz von All so-called london Gobshite lawyers need not waste their money and internet time*
N.B. Fredders, I know I didn't quite answer your lovely post as I'd hoped to do, but the bottle got the best of me old chap, and it is a very special day afterall*

Dear Fritz,
Thought for Tomorrow (in the manner of the old Home Service): every day has a special moment, but I find not as special as the optimist might speculate!
Now I really must pull myself together and retire, before retiement catches up with me. Thanks for a gentle laugh. We share no agenda, as I am sure you know, which actaully was not clear: I think neither of us has an agenda. This is better...
Neither of us will be caught out, because we say what we mean, always. Thus we disagree, which is good, but perhaps we don't actually disrespect each other (more the reverse!), because we do disagree from time to time. Voltaire had something to say about that didn't he!? Innit (sorry that is your word!)?
Nat nat, fra Fred

Fredders Old Bean! What gets me before I close my minces on this ascension day in luxurious drunken oblivion is that this City (which is a quarter the size of Our Dear London) and still as safe and as perfectly German as it is! Still 'Officially' records some 200+ish deaths of Vietnamese, etc, etc, men women & kids (Many quite horrible Murders) annually through/via Mafia related Crime which is never put on the real books for whaterver Political reason, as it isn't and has never been in UK either?
Fritz von There are reasons on all sides in all European countries, let's start seeing some reporting, to bring on real debate and possible action*
Official Murders/Deaths in Berlin /London 2005 + the rest, I ain't sayin nuffin though*
Just Tales of two Cities unknown innit*
Mind you Our Mick gives to Charity*
As another final point and I write from pure memory here as with 99% of my postal garbage, the Russians who'll soon be sending rather a lot of goods to the UK in this way or another making it ever more depenant (as said last year re: milk) will not be happy with UK milk as it's not TB tested, talk and blubber as much as you all want when you've read next months papers (Shock-Horrer) and Fritz is Mad Again,
all poscards to the Grange: Fredders Auntie
Norway

Dear Fritz,
Forgive me! Tired out, and the birds have already started, so must try for sleep. Tomorrow is going to be be murderous... F
PS: whatever one's standpoint on the Himmelfahrt of Siegfried [Wagner}, one cannot help thinking the Christain equivalent still has a resonance, even if I don't quite understand it. I have to work on Monday, which I would prefer was in oblivion...

With a fair Democratic (including postal voting) playing field it could be interesting, though as that doesn't even happen with local Councils in UK never mind Westminster, I hardly think the stress of it all would be worth it somehow actually; as obviously don't the majority of the politically uneducated, not caring a toss apathetic British public either*
Fritz von Even this forum is (and has often been) a good litmus test to what people really care about in UK, and it basically boils down to number 1* Don't anybody ever try to kid you otherwise*
When an opportunist like Reid jumps into the breach and everybody just shrugs their shoulders, I can only summise that Our Mick will be jumping ship even earlier than he'd origianlly anticipated to Lord it from a distance (unlike me you understand)

I don't know if opportunist is the right word, but he's as good a man as they've got to solve the problems with the immigration "system". The job of Home Secretary seems to be the career equivalent of the kiss of death, so maybe it's just an attempt to knacker his chances of becoming PM. I'm not fond of the bald wee haggis-noshing twat, but I prefer him to either Brown OR the Grining Tosser.
