I tried this innovative product for the first time last night.
It consists of a hard rubber semi-sphere with spiky bits sticking out that screws to the ceiling in the middle of your listening room. It looks a bit like an upside down sci-fi hedgehog.
The idea, so I am told is that it breaks up sound waves at the rooms resonance frequency, thus almost totally eliminating boomy bass.
This makes for much tighter tuneful bass, and makes speaker position much less of a sensitive issue.
Has anyone else come across this great product, if so with what kind of results?
