I've just bought a CD copy of "The Remasters" of Judas Priest's Defenders of the Faith - yeah cheesy as hell I know, but what memories! It's playing now and sounds as if the speakers are behind about three feet of bath sponge.

This a reflection of the original? I've only heard it on tape before this. Or just an example of how somebody can totally eff up a remaster?

Another remaster made for car stereos?

I thought even admitting you liked Judas Priest was Breaking The Law.

Ahh, the mighty Priest. I remember headbanging along at the Glasgow Apollo (I was only fourteen at the time). Thankfully, this wasn't the gig where Rob Halford decided to reveal his genitals to the audience.

I'm not sure Gianluigi - usually those remasters sound really loud and harsh right? This is just muffled sounding.

Hahahahahaha - what a video! Looking back now, it's hard to say just how much of the Eighties was tongue in cheek, and how much of it was just plain old cheese.

I remember hearing when Rob Halford rode on stage on a Harley, only to ride off the edge and be taken straight to hospital, show cancelled. Even though it was 30 years ago, it still makes me laugh to think about it. Imagine waiting around for hours for the show to start, and it lasts 10 seconds! Big Grin
