It looks as if any possibility of the RC Church being updated to relate to the world has just gone up the chimney.
I would suggest that will increase the gulf between the world's religions and increase the likelihood of further world conflict. It worsens the Aids situation where JPII failed, he is outspoken in his anti-"women in the Church" view. No cleaning up of the skeletons. This is total disaster.
