XP problem Spontaneous reboot caused by TrueVector Engine
Posted by: Roy T on 12 January 2004
Over the last few days or so I've been subjected to a plague of Spontaneous reboots on my XP Pro system. The error log points to trouble with the TrueVector engine
TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\ABC123.ldb" was corrupt and
has been copied to "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB10.tmp".
File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\ABC123.ldb" was corrupt and has been deleted.
and google points to this being a ZoneAlarm problem
So, as ZA is used by a few members on this forum I was wondering if this is only me or are others in trouble? Any ideas or help will be much appreciated.
Roy
PS.
My ZoneAlarm is upoto date and I'm working through the google listings, very scary these Spontaneous reboots, very scary indeed.
