Quiter (but still heavy, if that's not an oxymoron) and with more contemplative lyrics, if you can believe that. Fans over on Amazon.de seem to like it, not that that is much to go by.

Not my cup of tea exactly.

I think the whole Rammstein thing is a piece of crap - riding on neo-Nazi contents and martial appearance. Musically, not better than average high-school bands, yet better produced. With that kind of money in the back, it oughta be...

Ps If you wanna hear a "high school band" with REAL style, buy Frisell's new East/West CD. Just like sitting in that "parents sponsored" cheap-o rehearsal room in the basement. But MAN, that rocks...

I still love the Mutter album by Rammstein. Wish I could find their LP's.

Many rock artistes now only release on CD. Scorpions, Megadeth, Rammstein etc .. really sad

. Some of the Megadeth stuff is unlistenable on CD

but great on Vinyl. Rock is made to be played on Vinyl.

And about the Neo Nazi theme thing .. well... most metal bands have a kind of 'character' anyway. Running Wild are Pirates, Dio is mysticism, ACDC are little sex perverts, etc ... just a theme. Take it with a pinch o' salt.

Alright, tell the old git about it. I saw the album in HMV and thought the cover very interesting. My next thought was "who the hell are they and what's it all about?" Enlighten me, please.
