The cat is out of the bag

With great sadness, I report that Listener magazine (to which I contributed one review, and which also featured forum contributors Rob Doorack and Bob Shedlock) is folding.

So I may begin the healing process.

Man, that's a real shame.

No possibilities of finding another publisher?

Certainly none of the staff wants to stop, and there are tons of readers who want it to continue, so part of me wonders why it can't happen. But to those who know much more about it than me--i.e. Art and the publisher, it doesn't seem to be possible.

Eric,

Usually, when there's a need....someone somewhere will find a way to fill it (and make a buck in the process). Perhaps one of Art's writers would like to pick up the gauntlet and start up a new mag???

Just a thought...after all, Art would probably be able to offer some good advice....and sometimes you just need a good fresh idea, a fair minded publisher, and a little support from some like minded suppliers in the industry;)

Although nothing beats a pulp magazine; I would heartily support an online version of Listener that one could save offline, if that lowers production costs enough to keep the magazine alive.

Cheers
