what is 'Electroclash'?

Perhaps some of the hipper members here can clue me in? Read an interview with a band that said they were definitely not electroclash (so last year...) Therefore, I must already be at least two levels behind what's hip!

As with all elements of emerging music movements, there is dross, but also gems.

I got the CD "The sound of the future" this week - a set of early unreleased recordings by the Human League and the Future.
Looks interesting - I will report on the contents.
On your other point ..
The Germans are responible for a lot better music and Peru for instance.
