Been watching the excellent NZ music doco 'Give it a Whirl'. Inspiring stuff. Made me remember my roots with a major thwack to the head. Also made me realize what a load of diseased cock most 'pop' music is in 2003.

Hence recent purchases..(all on cd)

Submarine Bells..The Chills
Heavenly Pop Hits..also The Chills
Thousands of Tiny Luminous Spheres.. The Bats
the unbelievably fucking cool Gordons album (with Future Shock EP incl)
Best of Look Blue Go Purple

Any other posters still buzz to this stuff?
And to think I actually got 'into' Coldplay. What a twat!
Realism is a GOOD THING Wink

Oh yes, It all gets plenty of deck time here. Especially the Clean, Dunedin Double EP (Chills, Verlaines Stones and Sneaky Feelings) and the Builders.
