Do you Satie?

I first heard his works on Piano in 80 thru a friend with great taste.
In 94 or so I went to hear Pascal Roge play them in a small auditorium. Stunning, I bought the CD.
Recently I picked up VOXBOX The Music of Satie, Works for Piano/ orchestra/ Voice. I played it once and thought it alright but I was busy with other things. Last night I put it on and after the art songs I sat down to listen, by the end of the first CD I was beside myself. And the second CD is just as enchanting. This is going to the top of my list, calms the nerves, wonderful to smooch by. A little wine and nice dinner, good music, nothing better. I'll tune out all the Christmas crap with this lovely recording.
any other CDs, the Vox recording has everything but Gymnopedies and Gnossienne.
