New Manic Street Preachers

Heard/saw the new Manic Street Preachers single There by the grace of god last night on TV.
I thought it sounded really fantastic - the usual haunting, melancholic lament, with a great guitar sound.
The album is called something like Delayed.
Has anyone heard it yet ?

I am by no means a Manics fan, if anything I missed them due to my age, I am 24 and I was not a huge music fan until my mid teens.
I have not heard a huge amount of the older stuff but I think I would have enjoyed it , but back then they were not very mainstream, and I had not come across them.
The only album I have is "Everything must go"
This album has two types of songs on it, good ones and bad ones. A quick look at the sleeve and you will se the good ones were written by Richie James before he disapeared, the bad ones by the rest of the band.
If I were James Dean Bradfield, every time I thought about going into the studio, I would listen to Motorcycle Emptiness, and think; can I do a better song than this? the answer would be no. He most certainly shoiuld not produce any more dreary rubish, like he has done over the last cuple of years.

Hallo Simon,
I think you're being a little bit harsh. I was a Manics fan at the time of Generation Terrorists, the album containing Motorcycle Emptiness, and saw them perform a few times. They are a different band now for obvious reasons.
Although I don't have any other Manics albums I'm not too critical of their work. I imagine that everytime the enter the studio they cannot help thinking about Richie. This was a guy they grew up with as well as a member of the band. I think this has had a great influence on their subsequent work.
BTW, Delayed appears to be a "Best of" with two new tracks.
