Get the 3 disc (29 if your buying vinyl) compilation "Xen Cuts", then choose whomever catches your ear.

Personally I think Xen Cuts contains enough superb music that it can ages to really get to know it all. On the CD version there are three discs, all are universally excellent, though not each tune is to my favorite taste. The standard 3-LP box has fewer tunes than the 3-cd set, tho' the hard-to-find dark grey LP box has all the tunes on 5 LP's.
If you like the ninja tune stuff keep your eyes peeled for the Heads-II compilations from Mo' Wax. Also uniformly excellent. I only kick myself for not buying the vinyl when it was available!!!!

Have a look at their Big Dada subsiduary. The Infesticons album is a who's who of underground hip hop, all held together by Mike Ladd. I'd also recommend the cLOUDDEAD album and TTC's debut.

I can second the MoWax - Headz II recommendation. XEN Cuts is currently available as a 4 (!) LP version (Selectadisc, for interested Londoners). I don't know where this fits into the global Ninja scheme of things, but it's a great selection.

Well I got the last Herbaliser, blow your headphones, easily up to their usual standards. However I have made it my mission to purchase ninja only on vinyl.
Me feels a post christmas record binge in the heart of london.

He didn't release them on Ninja Tunes, but if you like the Infesticons album, you should try the other stuff Mike Ladd has put out. Of his two albums and E.P., Welcome to the Afterfuture is the one to get. The 'new Gil Scott Heron' tag is pretty near the mark, IMO.
