Digitising

These a lot of discussion on the distributed Audio about storage on server/disk/HDX etc, I have just looked at a la cie media storage (1 Tb) has anyone got experience of these, I really like the idea of putting all my DVD's on server/disk for easy access.( I still think an HDX for music though)
Any advice welcome

My advice Barrie is make sure you have a whole lot of patience. Getting DVDs to harddrive can be a long process, a labour of love perhaps best left to films you watch often.
