CD on Demand

Anyone ordered anything from these?

The claims made are strong - but they look like they may be CDRs with artwork. The attraction is a couple of albums that are no longer available on CD.

I don't know which company you're referring to exactly, but I have bought from US outfit Arkiv Music they offer CDRs of deleted recordings (in co-operation with the record label). They're are pretty professional and the look of the packaging is pretty nearly indistinguishable from an original. It has enabled me to obtain a complete cycle of Giulini conducting the Brahms symphonies.

Now if only they existed here (or a similar outfit did), as after postage it wasn't all that cheap.
