quote:I just walked by one today in SF, about a block from my sister's house. Was wondering if I should quickly pop in, now I sure will.
It's worth the visit just to walk around, I'm sure you'll find some thing to buy though.

Well, I did find something to buy - some $400 later. It's just great to finally set foot into a real CD & record store again. The selection both new and second hand is fantastic. It will be now one of my regular stop overs each time I'm in SF.

I've been to LA seven times in the last five years.
On each trip I've ended up in Amoeba.
I hate to think of the amount of money I've spent there.
And that was when the £ exchange rate with the $ was good.
Shame London hasn't got a shop like it.

It is amazing, and I"m sorry I missed Marc and daughter. I've been busy and at that time trying to hide from the news and election so I was spinning vinyl sometimes from 4pm to 11.
Now the music scene has started back up, Opera, symphony, a couple plays, and some decent looking movies. Bond, James Bond...
