I am sure this has been done, but can people direct me to a well priced london music shop, cds and lps pleasey!

To keep things simple we will be getting one of those passes that does all the undergrounds, but I would prefer to stick centrally, there just ain't enough hours in the day!

Berwick Street, Soho.

Full range of genres in specialist shops both 1st and 2nd Hand. Generally reasonable prices. Much better than the adjacent Oxford Street.

If its nothing particularly rare you're after Mister CD charges a maximum £8 for single and £14 for double CDs. I picked up the Morning Glory compilation of Tim Buckley's work there £10 cheaper than any other shop I've seen.

May as well add....

Berwick Street is also the street of the front cover of the Oasis album "Whats the Story Morning Glory". The picture was taken from the Oxford street end facing south.

Interesting if that's your sort of thing

All the Berwick Street shops are worth a look. Selectadisc at the top end is much the best. Also Tower Records in Piccadily Circus for a well stocked emporium - including more vinyl than most.

Alex I had tower down already wink Last I was there they had a sale on and they had simply chucked onto trestle tables loads and loads of boxes of cds, scarey stuff!
