Which coax cable?

Hi,

I notice that the new Pace Sky HD box has a digital audio coax output and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for coax cables to connect to an AV/2?

Cheers!

I'm using Chord's coax cable and am very pleased with it. Don't recall the name but I believe they only make one type of coax cables.

I recommend one that is long enough.

Actually Chord make three Coax cables ranging from the fairly modestly priced Codac at around £40 to the Signature which is over £200 (for 1m lengths). Naim also have their own DC1 which I think is about £175, so probably overkill for a Sky box, the Codac would probably be my choice on the basis that I have never been dissatisfied with a Chord product, buy if I was on a budget I'd be pinching some low loss satellite cable when the guy came to fit my dish and buying a couple of plugs on fleabay...

Naim make a Digital Coaxial Cable called the DC1.
It's exceptional.

Thanks for the advice, looks a Chord Codac cable is the one I'll be getting.

Cheers!

Richard,

I hope I'm not too late - although it's a good cable the Codac is nothing like as good as its bigger Prodac Silver Plus brother. The prodac is our best-selling cable for a reason - it punches well above its weight for performance. The Codac is abut £40 and the Prodac is around £65.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for the advice, not too late as I'm out of the country at the moment and will be picking up a cable when I'm back in a couple of weeks.

Cheers!
