main voltage question

In Uk market main voltage is/was fixed about 240 volt so there are same nap with 230 same 240 stick on the back.
There are same listenable difference using 240 one in a 230 main voltage?

230, 240 - I do not think anyone would notice a difference.

Last time I measure the mains voltage it was 236 volts. It probably varies a bit anyway.

Hi

The 230V single phase supply is taken from a 3 phase (3 live) supply which is feed to your local sub station. In between each live phase there is 380V-420V and between each live phase and neutral there is 220V-240V.
As the voltage can change on the 3 phase so can the single phase.
The european standard is 400V which we are comming down too from 415V.
