HDX ... oh yes

Heard the HDX today - fantastic.

User interface is great too.

Naim reckon an app for the iPhone / touch will be released to allow control of the HDX.

It's Naimnet enabled so will as well as providing an excellent source will distribute out to room amps etc.

It'll play from an external NAS with no loss of quality once the internal HD is full.

Naim are also looking into the possibility of Naim NAS solutions.

Sounded just as good playing files from a memory stick plugged into the USB port on the front panel.

I've got my name down for a demo as soon as a production unit is into my local dealer so i can assess it properly.

I wonder if Naim will release an HDi - with no internal drives...

Exciting times ahead Cool

It would stand to reason that they could strip it all the way down to a USB DAC.

Afterall, if you are feeding the HDX, with a USB flash drive, what else are you using besides alot of unwanted and unneeded "features".

If the memory stick had files at 24/96 resolution it's not surprising it sounded good.
